Chevrolet Silverado HD Work Trucks in Bangor, Maine

Around Bangor, Brewer and the rest of the Penobscot region, a work truck earns its keep in two seasons: hauling and towing from spring to fall, then pushing snow once winter sets in. The Silverado 2500 HD covers both for most businesses. The 3500 HD is the step up when the truck carries a service body, a dump insert or a full load of material day after day.

Our inventory runs from WT trucks spec'd for the job site to LT, LTZ and High Country trucks for owners who also drive them home. If you don't see the cab, bed or engine you need, tell our commercial team and we will help you find it.

Heavy Duty Trucks FAQs

How do I choose between the 2500 HD and the 3500 HD?

Add up everything that rides on the truck at once - body, plow, material, tools and crew. If that total fits comfortably within a 2500 HD's rating, it is the more versatile truck. If it doesn't, the 3500 HD's higher rating is the safe choice. Bring us the numbers and we will check them against the exact truck.

Should my business buy gas or diesel?

Buy the Duramax if heavy trailers are part of most working days. If the truck mostly runs a route with a body and a moderate load, the 6.6L gas V8 is usually the less expensive truck to buy and to maintain. Both are in our inventory.

Can you help me with a snowplow?

Yes. Quirk sells BOSS snowplows - browse the lineup on the BOSS site linked on this page, then ask our team about fitting one to the truck you choose.

Why doesn't my truck match the towing number in the ad?

Chevrolet quotes maximums for one specific build - the 36,000 lb figure is a 3500 HD Regular Cab dual-rear-wheel with the Duramax, and the 19,080 lb gas figure is also a 3500 HD. Cab, bed, drivetrain and engine all change the rating, so we will confirm the rating of the exact truck before you match a trailer to it.

Program benefits and incentives are set by the manufacturer and are subject to change and eligibility. Business Choice allowances apply to eligible Chevrolet Accessories, vehicles and business customers only. Equipment from independent suppliers is not covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. GM is not responsible for the safety or quality of independent supplier alterations. Towing, payload and GVWR figures are maximums for properly equipped vehicles; ratings for a specific vehicle depend on its configuration. Tax information is general - consult your tax advisor.
